He was born in Athens in Melissia in ’55. He graduated from Maroussi High School in ’73 and two years later he decided to go to America to study.

He studied Economics at the University of California.

During his studies he worked in some restaurants, having a love for cooking and kitchens since he was a child, in order to help him financially with his studies.

After graduating from University he worked for a decade in various insurance companies and later graduated from Culinary School following his true calling and vision.

In ’95 he moved to Las Vegas where he worked in various restaurants. There he was named Chef at one of the Las Vegas Casinos.

Being a restless spirit, he left for Latin America to explore the differences in flavours and while travelling, he listened to the innovations of materials and traditions of another culture.

After the collapse of the Twin Towers in America, he decided to return to Greece, where he worked with various restaurants in Athens and later left to work in Alonissos.

17 years later he creates his own restaurant in the Old Town of the island in 2018.

After 5 years of operation, Demi’s Restaurant won the Tripadvisor Travelers Choice 2023 award.
